City, University of London merged with St George’s, University of London to become City St George’s, University of London. It is a public research university in London, England, and a member institution of the University of London. Founded in 1894 as the Northampton Institute, it officially became a university in 1966. The university has strong links with the City of London and is organized into six schools, including the Department of Journalism, Bayes Business School, and City Law School.
