The Eco Ship Laboratory (ECOSL) for ships and offshore structures is part of Pusan National University, known as the second best national university in South Korea. It is famous for its Engineering departments, including Mechanical Engineering. The university was founded as a two-year college in 1946 and became a regular four-year university in 1953.
