The Federal College of Education (FCE) Kontagora is located in Niger State, Nigeria. It was established in September 1978 as the Federal Advanced Teacher College (FATC) during the military administration of General Olusegun Obasanjo. The college follows the recommendations of the Sir Eric Ashby report of 1970. It is affiliated with Ahmadu Bello University for its degree programs.
