The University of Tunis El Manar is a public institution created in 1987 under the name of 'University of Sciences, Techniques and Medicine of Tunis'. It had its current name according to Decree No. 2000-2826 of 27 November 2000. Bringing together the oldest and most prestigious higher education and research institutions in Tunisia, the UTM has a quality training offer, open to the needs of society and multidisciplinary.
