IMT Mines Alès, also known as École nationale supérieure des mines d’Alès, is one of the oldest elite schools of engineering in France, founded in 1843. It is part of the national 'Institut Mines Télécom' (IMT), the biggest group of engineering schools in France. The school has 1,400 students, including 20% international students from 45 countries, and offers various graduate courses, including international programs taught in English. IMT Mines Alès hosts five research laboratories and is a member of four doctoral schools, offering various PhD programs.
