Takoradi Technical University

Takoradi Technical University is a public tertiary education institution located in Sekondi-Takoradi, the capital of the Western Region of Ghana. Established as a government technical institute in 1954, it became a Technical University in 2016. The university is known for its busy classrooms and workshop machines, offering a variety of programs mainly at the Craft and undergraduate levels. It sits in a region where the sea breeze from the Atlantic Ocean mixes with the academic atmosphere.
