Darul Uloom Zakariyya, formerly known as Madrasah Zakariyya, was established in 1983 as a Religious and Charitable trust to provide higher Islamic Education to the Muslim Community. It is situated on the outskirts of Lenasia, approximately 20km south of Johannesburg, near the suburb of Zakariyya Park. The institution is recognized as a Non-Profit Organisation and a Public Benefit Organisation in South Africa.
