College of Health Sciences

The College of Health Sciences at the University of Ghana has a rich history, with its Medical Sciences program becoming part of the university in 1962. The government of Ghana, under President Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, established the Ghana Medical School, which was later housed in temporary buildings at the Korle Bu Hospital. The college has since grown and is known for its programs in health sciences.
