The University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) is a public university located in Ho, in the Volta Region of Ghana. It is one of the younger universities in Ghana, having started operations in September 2012 with an initial intake of 154 students. UHAS is dedicated to teaching, research, and service in the health sciences. It is ranked second in Ghana and 36th in Africa according to the World Scientist and University Rankings 2021 by AD Scientific Index.
