Alliance Française du Cap is a cultural and linguistic centre located in Cape Town, South Africa. Founded in 1959, the non-profit association's main objective is to promote the French language and culture as well as intercultural exchanges between France, French-speaking countries and South Africa. It is currently the only French language training centre in South Africa recognised by the French Department of Foreign Affairs. The Alliance Française du Cap offers French courses at all levels and trains approximately 500 South African students each year.
