The African School of Economics (ASE) is a private university headquartered in Abomey-Calavi, Republic of Benin. Founded in 2014 by the renowned economist Leonard Wantchekon, ASE aims to become a leading research institution in economics, political science, and business for Africa. It is a Pan-African University dedicated to producing cutting-edge research in Economics, Finance, and Public Policy, as well as world-class social scientists and business leaders on the continent.
