Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel

Kiel University, also known as Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel or CAU, is a public research university located in Kiel, Germany. Founded in 1665 by Christian Albert, Duke of Holstein-Gottorp, it is the oldest, largest, and most prestigious university in the state of Schleswig-Holstein. With approximately 27,000 students, Kiel University offers a wide range of academic disciplines across its eight faculties.
