The State University for Music and Performing Arts in Mannheim is a public university and the only state‑funded arts institution in the Rhine‑Neckar metropolitan region. It has a long tradition dating back to its predecessor schools and is renowned for its music and performing‑arts programmes. The university currently supports over 50 Ukrainian musicians and dancers who have fled their country, offering them opportunities to continue their artistic training.
