Music Academy International (MAI), founded in 1989 in Nancy, is a professional training centre for contemporary and electronic music. It offers programmes in jazz, pop, rock, electro, film scoring and other modern music disciplines, with a student body of about 200‑300 and 10‑15% international students. All teachers are active professional musicians, and the school is recognised by Campus France as a professional training and teaching centre of contemporary music.
