Hochschule Düsseldorf

Hochschule Düsseldorf, University of Applied Sciences (HSD), was established on August 1, 1971, through the merger of several regional educational institutions. It is the second largest University of Applied Sciences in North Rhine-Westphalia, after the Technical University of Cologne. The institution offers a comprehensive and interdisciplinary range of subjects with approximately 11,000 students taught in 36 degree programs across seven faculties by nearly 200 professors. Hochschule Düsseldorf provides the biggest design faculty in Germany, offering a wide range of courses and workshops focusing on traditional analogue and modern digital production techniques.
