The University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) started operations in September 2012 with 154 students. It currently has a student population of 3,752 and a staff strength of 611, with a staff-to-student ratio of 17:1, which is the best among all state universities in Ghana. UHAS is committed to excellence and global engagement, as evidenced by its cultural diversity celebrations and competitive admission processes.
