Gunma University, abbreviated to Gundai, is a national university in Japan established in 1949. It is located in Aramaki-machi, Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture, and has an urban campus. The university was formed by integrating several national colleges in Gunma Prefecture, including Maebashi College of Medical Science and Kiryu Technical College. Gunma University has a student population of over 6,000, including undergraduates and postgraduates.
