The University of Madeira (UMa) is a Portuguese public university created in 1988 in Funchal. It is a small-sized institution with an enrollment range of 5,000-5,999 students. UMa is recognized as one of the top 20 universities in Portugal and is known for its partnerships, including an agreement with Carnegie Mellon University.
