The American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine (AUC) is located in Cupecoy on the Dutch side of Sint Maarten, about 150 miles from Puerto Rico. Students complete five semesters of medical sciences on the island before moving to affiliated hospitals in the US or UK for clinical training, ultimately earning an MD and pursuing residencies worldwide. AUC is committed to providing students with information to help them fund their education through student loan programs, medical school financial aid, and scholarships.
